About
Arulei
Rebecca Galfalvi known by her stage name Arulei, is a multi instrumental composer, violinist and looping artist. Using synths, found sounds and noise recordings all help her to create a world of storytelling and dark wonder in her music.
Her second album 'Bordering Freedom' came out in November 2025, and tells a story of personal darkness as well as the toxic relationship we have with our environment, ultimately leading to self destruction.
As a passionate collaborator, she regularly records and writes for other artists from a wide variety of styles including ambient, rock, metal, film and world music. She also composes music for film and won Best Music at Around the Globe Film Festival for her score to 'Anxious Love' by Kiya Mukherjee.
